Every year in June a selection of our RAD Classical Ballet students undertake their ballet exams. Taking your exam is something that requires a lot of extra hard work, dedication, and determination, as well as a mammoth amount of support from our dance families. So a huge congratulations not only to the dancers but their support network as well.
The girls all arrived presented beautifully and looking like the “little ladies” that they are. Pictured below are all of our gorgeous exam dancers:
So now that it is all over, I bet you are all breathing a sigh of relief today knowing that the exam is done and dusted…well until next year anyway! It felt as though I hardly exhaled once yesterday, and although we were trying to keep calm for the girls I know there were a few nerves in the waiting room from parents as well yesterday… I can’t have been the only nervous one!
Results
Students will be notified of their results from Miss Erin via email, with those dancers who successfully pass their exam will also be presented with their exam medals on stage at our Stage Spectacular in December. Special awards will also be handed out to students who received the top marks in their group.
Vocational Exams
EBA’s Vocational Students will be undertaking their Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced ballet exams at the RAD Centre in the city during Term 3. Vocational exams also include pointe work, and this will be some of our students first time taking an exam “en pointe”. We wish our older girls all the best of luck with their continued preparations over the coming weeks.
